Victim Empowerment Program
At the Moses Mabhida Foundation, we believe in restoring hope and dignity to the most vulnerable members of our society. Our Victim Empowerment initiative is dedicated to providing essential support to orphans, the homeless, and individuals affected by trauma. We proudly donate clothing to those in need and provide food to the poorest of the poor, ensuring that no one goes without basic necessities. But our work doesn’t stop there. We understand the emotional toll of abuse and trauma, which is why we offer free counseling to victims of rape, domestic violence, and emotional abuse. Our team of dedicated social workers, in partnership with the South African Social Development Department, offers professional support to help victims on their path to healing. In collaboration with the local police department, we also facilitate cases to ensure justice and protection for victims. Beyond immediate assistance, our self-awareness programs aim to educate the community on preventing and addressing issues like abuse and violence. Through these workshops, we equip individuals with the knowledge to avoid harmful situations and the resources to seek help when needed. At Moses Mabhida Foundation, we stand for empowerment, care, and community strength. Together, we can make a difference.
