The Thuthuzela Care Centre at Mamelodi Day Care Hospital provides essential support services for victims of rape and sexual assault. Staffed by a dedicated team that includes a social worker, six auxiliary social workers, and six volunteers, the Centre offers a safe space for survivors to receive counseling, emotional support, and material assistance.

In addition, the team organizes awareness events, referrals, and support groups to aid recovery and empower survivors. Through these services, the Centre is committed to fostering hope, resilience, and healing in the community.
